Birds in Your Garden

We have Blackbirds, Sparrows, Starlings, Mudlarks and a heap of other bird types, but most importantly we have Magpies. Our resident Magpie parents hatched and raised three babies this year and the babies spend a lot of time in my garden. They know it's safe here and because I talk to them, they aren't scared of me and act like small children in what antics they get up to each day. They love running through the tomato plants, often hiding beneath the foliage or laying down having a sleep. I don't mind them being here, as they're not destructive and they do have a go at picking up any bugs they see.

Here's a photo of them in the garden, doing what babies do best.
